Agence de Com is a trading name of MIDOLIA. When you visit agence-de-com.com, request a quote, invite Hector Arthur to speak, apply for a position or use a client area, MIDOLIA processes personal data about you, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The data controller is MIDOLIA, a single-member limited liability company (EURL) with a share capital of €5,000, 8 rue Saint-Fargeau, 75020 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 509 307 757. Contact: studioleizart@gmail.com. The full legal notice is set out in our legal notice and general terms. Our clients’ data is also governed by chapter 6 of these general terms.

2. Data we collect

  • Quote and contact requests: first and last name, company, e-mail address, phone number, type of project, deadline, indicative budget and project description, as well as the messages you send us by e-mail, phone, text message or WhatsApp.
  • Applications: name, contact details, city, link to your professional profile, the text of your CV, the fields of activity you are interested in, answers to questions and scenarios, availability, the working arrangement you are looking for, start date, preferred duration, expected pay and, where applicable, the meeting slot you choose.
  • Speaking requests (talks and discussions): name of your organisation, your name and position, a way to reach you, and the topics, expectations, format and period you have in mind.
  • Client area: if we open an area for you to follow your project, your account details (name, username, e-mail address, the password we assign to you, stored in hashed form with an encrypted copy), the requests and messages, written, dictated or sent via WhatsApp, and the files you upload there, as well as the time you spend actively using the area.
  • Browsing: pages viewed, referring website or app, device and browser type, country, and IP address truncated before recording (section 4). Our hosting provider also records connection data to keep the website secure.

You must complete the required fields to submit the form. The other fields are optional.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your requests, drawing up a quote and preparing our services (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, then performance of the contract; legitimate interest where you act on behalf of a company).
  • Following up on our exchanges with the companies that consult us (legitimate interest).
  • Reviewing your application and arranging an interview (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract); keeping an unsolicited application so that we can contact you again when we need to (legitimate interest, which you may object to); keeping your application for recruitment to an advertised position (consent, given through the tick box on the form).
  • Reviewing and answering a speaking request (legitimate interest).
  • Following the progress of your project in the client area (performance of the contract or pre-contractual steps).
  • Measuring how the client area is used, including active usage time, in order to improve it (legitimate interest).
  • Measuring the website’s audience, improving it and keeping it secure (legitimate interest).

4. Cookie-free audience measurement

We measure the website’s audience with a statistics tool that we host ourselves, in France. This tool operates without cookies and stores nothing on your device to recognise you between visits. Your IP address is truncated before this tool records it. These statistics are used only to understand how many people visit the website and where visits come from; they are used neither for advertising nor to identify you.

5. Social media

The website contains links to our Instagram and YouTube accounts. No component from these platforms is embedded in the website. If you follow these links, these platforms process your data under their own privacy policies.

6. Retention periods

Your data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymised:

  • quote, contact and speaking requests: for as long as it takes to handle your request and follow up on our exchanges;
  • applications: while they are being reviewed, then for up to two years after your last contact with us, unless you object or ask for erasure;
  • our clients’ data: the periods set out in chapter 6 of our general terms, in particular ten years for accounting records.

7. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible to the MIDOLIA staff responsible for answering you, following the progress of your project or reviewing your application, and to the technical service providers needed for this processing: hosting of the website and of our tools, e-mail, development tools and artificial intelligence services.

We use artificial intelligence services to sort the e-mails you send us and to prepare draft replies, which our team reviews before they are sent. The providers that sort e-mails and prepare draft replies act on our behalf, under a contractual framework that excludes any reuse of your data for their own purposes. In the client area, your requests are handled by an assistant based on artificial intelligence. Voice notes sent via WhatsApp may be transcribed by a US service provider. Dictation in the client area uses your browser’s speech recognition, under the browser provider’s rules. For applications, an artificial intelligence tool hosted in France performs an initial ranking; every application is read by a person. No decision producing legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affecting you is taken solely on the basis of automated processing: the decision on an application is made by a person.

Applications and speaking requests are hosted in France. Other data, in particular e-mails and messages from the client area, is transferred outside the European Union, in particular to the United States. These transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or are governed by its standard contractual clauses. You may obtain the up-to-date list of our providers and a copy of the applicable safeguards on request, using the contact details given in section 8.

We do not sell any personal data and do not pass your data on to any third party for its own direct marketing.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions laid down by applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to its processing, and to data portability, as well as the right to give instructions regarding your data after your death. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise these rights, write to MIDOLIA, 8 rue Saint-Fargeau, 75020 Paris, France, or to studioleizart@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

9. Cookies

The public pages set no cookies. The website sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies. Cookies and data stored in your browser’s local storage are used only in the client area — to keep you signed in, to spare you re-entering the access code of a project folder and to remember your display and read-aloud preferences — and in the areas reserved for our team. These mechanisms support the operation of these areas.
